We started making crash pads over 12 years ago mostly because back then you only had a couple of pad choices and you could get them in either black or grey - Blah! With such limited choices in function and style - we set out to make the best crash pad in the world and we were determined to make it look good!

Every crash pad company claims to use high quality foam but the truth is in the foam density. Lighter or thicker is NOT better! Many companies choose to save a buck on foam - we choose to pay more for the best. Why? Because top quality foam lasts longer and creates a better landing zone!

We're climbers too; we started a small climbing company out of our garage in 1993. Not much has changed, we still work out of our garage and we're still climbing. We'll never lose touch with our gear - we use our gear, we put our name on it and we demand perfection. We simply refuse to compromise quality for dollars. We make all of our bouldering crash pads right here in Flagstaff, AZ, USA. We source the strongest materials and if we can't source a part for our pads - we make it! Our most recent upgrade/design is our bomber custom aluminum buckle - compare them to the other buckles on the market, you'll see why we're pretty darn proud of them.
